Issue:
There has been an increase in the amount of eligible indigent clients being assisted with physician services (consultations, surgical services, treatments, etc.) to ensure compliance with their medical treatment plans and to prevent unnecessary hospital emergency room utilization.
Solution:
Approval of requested funds will allow our office to continue assisting clients with their physician services.
Result:
Clients will be able to consult with their physicians as medically necessary and prevent more expensive medical complications and unnecessary hospitalizations.
