Discussion and possible action to approve an affiliation agreement between Webb County and Community Health System Professional Services Corporation, LLC (CHSPSC) on behalf of the CHSPSC affiliate hospitals; and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents; and other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Webb County will be participating in the Local Healthcare Transformation Support (LHTS) Program in an effort to ensure that regional providers are able to fully maximize their Uncompensated Care (U/C) and Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program payments. Webb County will collaborate with other Health Care Funding Districts in situations where their respective IGT entities are not able to fully fund the IGT required by HHSC.

Solution: Approval of the affiliation agreement is necessary for participation in the LHTS Program.

Result: If approved,a copy of the executed affiliation agreement will be forwarded to the Texas Heath and Human Services Commission.
