Discussion and possible action to approve a financial audit service contract with Pattillo, Brown & Hill, LLP for an amount not to exceed $86,500.00, audit services will cover but not limited to the Webb County's general financial statements, major federal fund programs, Supervision and Corrections Department and Juvenile Probation Department; Accounts for both Corrections and General Operating fund are subject to future line item transfers to cover shortfall to meet the proposed fees for those areas and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: RFQ # 2016-003 was awarded to Pattillo, Brown and Hill, LLP.

Solution: Seek approval from Commissioners Court to finalize the financial audit service contract for Webb County.

Results: Commence with annual external audit services required by law.

Background:

RFQ 2016-003 was awarded to Pattillo, Brown and Hill, LLP. Engagement letters for each area were submitted for review. County Staff is recommending approval of contract so external audit work can proceed.
