Discussion and possible action to ratify all current legal services rendered to Webb County by the law firm of Allison, Bass & Magee, LLP and to authorize payment for services in an amount not to exceed $5,700.00 (Five Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars), with additional action to authorize the release of check to said firm immediately upon approval; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Currently, there is an outstanding balance to this law firm that extends to over a year of services rendered, despite the fact that payment and contract has been approved by Commissioners Court. Requests for
payment have been submitted to the Auditors Department but they require a court ratification of services.

Solution: Ratify all legal services rendered by the law firm to date and authorize payment as per the retainer agreements on file.

Result: Ensure all payments for services already rendered are taken care of.
