Discussion and possible action to authorize Webb County Community Action Agency - El Aguila Rural Transportation to modify department's Job Descriptions and submit to Civil Service for revision and approval as per the one recommendation of Wage and Hour, Department of Labor. This has no impact on general fund.

Issue: Wage and Hour conducted an overall investigation on the department. Job descriptions will need to be modified to fit need as per salary/hourly rates.

Solution: Recommendations and a full report were established to resolve findings. Job descriptions will be modified as follows:

Transit Program Manager to Transit Program Manager
Senior Transit Program Assistant to Senior Transit Program Assistant
Transit Program Assistant to Transit Program Assistant
Transit Field Supervisor to Lead Driver I
Fleet Manager to Lead Driver II
Bus Operator I to Bus Operator I-Part Time/2054 and Bus Operator II/1911
Bus Operator II to Bus Operator IIIA/1123
Bus Operator III to Bus Operator I/1127, Bus Operator I /1132, Bus Operator II/1129 and Bus Operator IIIB/1128
Maintenance Driver to Maintenance/Bus Operator II/1556

Result: Proactive stance to comply with the state and federal mandates. All job descriptions will be modified as per recommended information for the betterment of the department.
