Discussion and possible action to approve a Resolution and authorize the Honorable Tano E. Tijerina, Webb County Judge, Honorable Jesse Gonzalez Commissioner, Pct. 1 as authorized signators and Honorable Rosaura "Wawi" Tijerina, Pct. 2 as alternate signator to the Texas Community Block Grant Program TCDP # 7216115 grant and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documentation. [Requested by Juan Vargas. Economic Development Department Executive Director]

Issue: Two signatures required on all draw down requests for reimbursement.

Solution: This will allow by resolution the individuals listed above as authorized signatories for the Request for Payment Form A203 where two (2) signatures are required for reimbursement of funds to Webb County.

Result: This will allow Webb County to receive reimbursement for funds spent under this water improvement grant from TDA.

Background:

Texas Community Development Block Grant received from the Texas Department of Agriculture in the amount of $500,000 for water improvement project to replace the Mirando City Water Storage Standpipe Tank in Mirando City Texas.

Previous Court Action:

Commissioners Court will be reviewing and taking action to accept Texas Community Development Contract # 7216115 in the amount of $500,000 at the February 13, 2017 Commissioners Court Meeting.
