Discussion and possible action to accept a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 Tradesman purchased by the U.S. Marshals Services for use by the District Attorney's Office for Joint Law Enforcement Operations and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [Requested by Isidro R. Alaniz, District Attorney; Account #001-1100-6403]

Issue: USMS purchased a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 truck for the District Attorney's Office for use by Joint Law Enforcement Operations.

Solution: Approve the donation of the vehicle from the USMS for law enforcement use.

Result: Utilize all resources provided by the Federal government for the benefit of deterrence and to dismantle organized crime in our community and along the Texas border within Webb County.

Background:

JLEO operations headed by USMS provides participating law enforcement agencies with resources to help the mission of fighting organized crime within our County and Community. Resources such as overtime funding and vehicle purchases for task force members.
