Discussion and possible action to authorize the hiring of a temporary full time position (without benefits) to replace an employee who will be out on Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA) without pay, effective February 20, 2017 or no later than February the 27, 2017 and to approve the internal posting and filling of the following slot; subject to the availability of payroll funds and any other applicable Civil Service guidelines.

Background:
Full time employee will be out on maternity leave (FMLA) without pay.  Hiring a temporary full time employee (no benefits) will ensure the workload is not interrupted.   When employee returns from FMLA, temporary full time employee's status will terminate.
