Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of fence material not to exceed the amount of $1,508.00 from Account #645-8001-8801 Capital Outlay for Colorado Acres Water Facilities from the TCDP #7215510 Colorado Acres - HWY 59 Water Improvement Project. This action will have no impact on the County’s General Fund. [Account #645-8001-8801 (Texas Department of Agriculture)]

Issue: The western side of the property line is not fenced and being used by others.

Solution: The construction of the fence along the western side of the Webb County property will secure the area and also provide an additional fence barrier to the current Sanitary Easement required by TCEQ.

Result: This fence will assist to improve the US HWY 59 Water facilities Sanitary Easement area.

Background:

Texas Community Development Block Grant received from the Texas Department of Agriculture in the amount of $304,922 for a water improvement project to rehabilitate the water plant off U.S. HWY 59 Colonia group
