Discussion and possible action requesting court authorization requiring that the Webb County Auditor provide all county fund and revenue projections from all sources for Fiscal Year 2017-2018 within projected budget timeline; and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Section 111.063 and 111.065 of the Texas Local Govt. Code requires that the County Auditor provide all fund and revenue projections from all sources to the budget officer in an effort to prepare and finalize the county budget for the next fiscal year.

Solution: Order the County Auditor adhere to the budget officers timeline request for financial information.

Result: Allow for budget office to work with departments and officials to prepare and present a finalized county budget for fiscal year 2017-2018 in a timely manner.
