Discussion and possible action to authorize a Memorandum of Understanding between Webb County and Enlightening the Children of the Quad City, a Texas Nonprofit Corporation, for the continued construction of a community and educational training building located in or around Bruni, Texas. Webb County and Javelina Wind Energy, LLC, entered into a Tax Abatement Agreement that required Javelina Wind Energy to contribute $400,000.00 to Webb County for this purpose. Webb County will assist Enlightening the Children of the Quad City by administering the funding for this project and will provide oversight necessary to ensure that the available funds are used for this specific project.
