Discussion and possible action to authorize the Webb County Head Start program to enter into a Service Agreement with Juaquin Sanchez, Certified Public Accountant, in the amount of $4,788. The purpose of this agreement is to comply with Head Start Program Performance Standard 1302.102 (b) (2) (i) - On-going Assessment of Program Goals. Mr. Sanchez will submit a summary report on the outcome of the monitoring for each section of the Fiscal Protocol, and will conduct his monitoring in accordance with attestation standards established by the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants. The term of the Service Agreement will be from May 16, 2017 through May 18, 2017, and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents. Background:

Head Start Program Performance Standard 1302.102 states the a program must effectively oversee progress towards program goals on an ongoing basis and annually must: Conduct a self-assessment that uses program data including aggregated child assessment data, and professional development and parent and family engagement data as appropriate, to evaluate the program’s progress towards meeting goals established under paragraph (a) of this section, compliance with program performance standards throughout the program year, and the effectiveness of the professional development and family engagement systems in promoting school readiness;
