Discussion and possible action to accept Amendment #5 to contract #61160002398 - FY-2016 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) in the amount of $44,397.19 from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA). This amendment is extended through May 31, 2017.

Issue: Extension provided by state funding source requesting for agency to expend all funds under the 2016 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) contract before continuing the use of 2017 Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) funds.

Solution: The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) provides support services to eligible elderly, disabled and low income residents of Webb County.

Result: The support services are intended to assist eligible Webb County residents to transition out of poverty.
