Discussion and possible action to approve the "Early Head Start Child Care Partnership Refunding Application" for the 2017 - 2018 fiscal year in the amount of $762,694 (Federal Share) and $190,674 (Non-Federal Share) for a total amount of $953,368, with a 1.5 % Cost of Living Adjustment for all Full Time employees.

Background:

Webb County Commissioners Court was provided Child Care funds by the Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families. The purpose of this funding is to be used to establish and operate an Early Head Start Child Care Partnership for the benefit of the residents of Webb County, Texas. Per the Award, Webb County is authorized to contract with a third party for the purpose of delegating to the third party the responsibility to set up and operate all or a portion of the Early Head Start Child Care Partnership.

The Court approved the second year of this application on May 23, 2016.
