Discussion and possible action to accept the 2017 - 2018 Refunding grant for the Early Head Start Child Care Partnership program (Year 3 of a 4 year funding cycle) in the amount of $770,138 (Federal), with an in-kind match of $192,535 to serve 72 Early Head Start eligible children and their families from September 1, 2017 through August 31, 2018 in Webb County.

Background:

This is an annual Refunding grant. The Non Federal Share does not require a cash match. All positions are 100% grant funded. No impact to the General Fund.

This application was approved by the Court on May 22, 2017.
