Discussion and possible action to accept a reimbursement in the amount of $33,345.87 for a Supplemental Joint Agreement between Webb County, Texas and the Texas Mexican Railway Company and the Kansas City Southern Railway Company approved October 5, 2016 to permanently close the existing Vaquillas Road crossing railroad track and to route motor vehicle traffic to Jennings Road. With further action to assign an account number and a contact person to receive funds and distribute accordingly and; authorize the Webb County Judge to execute all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Due to public safety this railroad crossing had to be closed.

Solution: Completed project for the safety of community. Receive reimbursement and apply accordingly to assigned account.

Result: Enhanced safety.
