Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of Seven (7) scanners, Two (2) computers and software from Connection, Dell & SHI to be used for Justice of the Peace Pct. 4, Judge Jose R. Salinas, pursuant to Sections 271.101 and 271.102, Texas Local Government Code, Cooperative Purchasing program NCPA 01-44, DIR-TSO-3763, DIR-SDD-2503 respectively in the amount of Thirty-Three Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Nine Dollars and Eighty-Six cents ($33,869.86). [Account #2009-2180-001-460105 (Technology Fund)]

Issue: Department is in need of additional updated computers and scanners for their department court operations.

Solution: By using available Technology funds, the department can procure computer equipment and scanners needed for daily court operation.

Result: Obtained equipment will better equip department for all court needs.
