Discussion and possible action to place RFP #2016-04 Espejo Gates Roadway Improvement Project on hold indefinitely, pending approval from the Texas Department of Transportation to shift balance of CTIF funds for alternative project(s). All required documents will be sent to the Texas Department of Transportation for review and compliance; and authorize the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents, if needed. Issue: Request approval from the Texas Department of Transportation to shift balance of CTIF funds for County owned Mines Road Project. Webb County would also like to acquire additional funds and/or dedication of Espejo Gates Road.

Solution: Coordination in the shifting of funds to ensure several alternative road project(s).

Result: Following Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) approval, alternative project(s) will commence.
