Discussion and possible action to approve the submission of a Contract Amendment/Performance Statement Modification Request to include the relocation of eleven (11) utility poles in Colonia Pueblo Nuevo (TCDP #7217491). In addition, this action requires the County Judge to be the authorized signator for all relevant documentation. This will have no impact on the County's General Fund. All required documents were sent for review through the Economic Development Department and the solicitation is compliant with the Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) procedures. Issue: The current utility poles follow the old right of way limits and must be relocated towards the outer edge of the current right of way.

Solution: This will assist with financing the relocation of the eleven (11) utility poles. Funds will be used from the existing Construction line item ($225,000).

Result: The performance statement will be modified to include the relocation of the eleven poles in order to be considered as an eligible expense under TCDP Contract #7217491. The service to relocate the poles will be funded through grant funds.
Background:
Background: Texas Community Development Block Grant received from the Texas Department of Agriculture in the amount of $275,000 for roadway improvements in Colonia Pueblo Nuevo. Construction shall take place in the following Colonia Pueblo Nuevo roadways: West Ibarra, West Maria Elena and West Mendoza.
Previous Court Action:
Previous Court Action:   Commissioners Court approved the acceptance of the Texas Community Development Program (TCDP) contract #7217491 from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) in the amount of Two Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($275,000) for roadway improvements in Colonia Pueblo and authorize Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documentation. Approved January 8, 2018:  item #27.
