Discussion and possible action to approve an amendment to the Substance Abuse Treatment Services Operation Agreement between People with Ideas of Love, Liberty, Acceptance, and Respect (P.I.L.L.A.R.) and Webb County for the 406th Judicial District Court-Veterans Treatment Program for professional counseling services for eligible court participants as previously approved by the Commissioners Court on February 12, 2018; item no. 5k., by amending Article IV, of the agreement entitled Professional Service and Duties, to provide for a revised, updated and corrected scope of services in new Article IV, Professional Services and Duties, to remove and/or add professional services and/or duties that were erroneously included or excluded from the original agreement, and also amending Article V., entitled Compensation, to provide for and authorize the payment for counseling services by Webb County to (P.I.L.L.A.R.) at the rate of $250.00 per counseling session, and at a cost not to exceed Three Thousand Three Hundred Thirty Three Dollars and Thirty-Three Cents ($3,333.33) per month with a total cost not to exceed Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) over the term of the agreement, upon approval and execution of this item, the amendments shall be effective retroactively to July 1, 2017, the date of approval of the 406th Judicial District Court-Veterans Treatment Program/Grant; and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents, and any other matters incident thereto.
