Discussion and possible action to grant Preliminary Plat approval to Lots 18, 19, 20 and 21, Block 3, Old Milwaukee Subdivision being a 0.6852 acre tract of land out of the A.M. Bruni Estate Partition and further described in Vol. 219, Pgs. 521-534 of the Webb County Deed Records (ID 8318).  Planning Department staff recommends preliminary approval.
Background:
Item is a regulatory compliance matter required for the subdivision of real property.  The subdivision is for residential purposes and thus, subject to compliance with the Model Subdivision Rules (MSRs), state law and local regulations governing residential subdivisions and colonias.  No public improvements are proposed with this plat (subdivided tracts are fronting Old Milwaukee Road being a paved, county-maintained road with adequate drainage).  Currently, only water service improvements are in place and sewer service improvements will be constructed within 30 days of preliminary approval.  This plat received final approval from the City of Laredo Planning & Zoning Commission on September 7, 2017.  The final plat will be submitted for the Commissioners Court’s consideration upon completion of all required improvements and the water and wastewater services are fully operable.
