Discussion and possible action to approve a creation of a special revenue fund for future revenues and expenditures for new revenues received from the Department of Homeland Security from seized funds in accordance with Texas Laocal Government Code, Section 111.07075 (Special Budget for Revenue Received after Start of Fiscal Year).

Issue: New revenue receipts are as a result of previous seizures conducted between the Constable Precinct 2 and Federal Law enforcement agency(s). These amounts have now been forfeited and awarded to the collaborating agencies for official use.

Solution: Appropriate new revenues and expenditures not currently budgeted.

Result: Utilize new revenues for law enforcement purposes and in accordance with Federal forfeiture guidelines. All forfeiture budgets should be used only as a supplement source and not to supplant current budgets approved through the General fund or other non-forfeiture sources.
