Discussion and possible action to authorize the purchase of Forty-Four (44) APX8500 All BandMP Mobile radios from Motorola Solutions, Inc. for the Webb County Sheriff and Constables, pursuant to Sections 271.101 and 271.102, Texas Local Government Code, Cooperative Purchasing program HGAC #RA05-17 in the amount of $292,024.92 [Requested by Commissioners Court; Multiple Capital Outlay accounts]

Issue: Radios are needed for law enforcement communication for new leased units.

Solution: Purchase APX 8500 model for law enforcement use. Funding will be provided through a finance contract with Government Capital Corporation.

Result: Obtain the needed equipment to run law enforcement operations.

Approval to finance all law enforcement equipment including the motorola radios for the 44 leased units, 9/24/2018, item 32.
