Discussion and possible action to authorize Webb County Community Action Agency to enter into an annual vendor agreement with Retail Energy Providers for the implementation of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP). This vendor agreements are a Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) requirement for the implementation of the programs.

Issue: Webb County C.A.A. will enter into an annual vendor agreement with Retail Energy Providers for the implementation of the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP).

Solution: This vendor agreements are a Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) requirement for the implementation of the programs.

Result: Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) will provide funding to be used for payment of qualifying low income clients home energy expenses.
