Discussion and possible action to authorize the creation of a formal office or department for the designation of the Webb County Collections Improvement Program (CIP) to carry out the collection of court costs, fees, and fines imposed in criminal cases, and as required by the state Office of Court Administration (OCA). With additional action to authorize Human Resources department to designate Two (2) current budgeted slots for a director and assistant director with appropriate salary and job description information; and any other matters incident thereto. Court action may include the designation of current county office space to further implement this program.
