Discussion and possible action to enter into a contract with The Segal Company (Western States) Inc. to conduct an Employee Classification and Wage Study Update in an amount not to exceed Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) beginning December 1, 2018, and ending November 31, 2019, with the final report and recommendation to be submitted no later that April 30, 2019 and appointing the Honorable County Judge Tano E. Tijerina, Honorable Commissioner John C. Galo, Chief Executive Administrator Lalo Uribe, Commissioners Court Administrator Leroy Medford, Civil Legal Division Director Nathan Bratton, Human Resources Director Ernesto Guajardo and Honorable District Judge Joe Lopez to the Wage Study Committee and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. Background:

The Wage Study is intended to update and refresh the current County employee classification and wage scale.

Previous Court Action:

The Commissioners Court selected The Segal Company to perform the update of the County's current employee classification and wage scale and directed the Civil Legal Division to negotiate a contract for the desired services.
