Discussion and possible action to authorize the development and submission of a Texas Community Development Block Grant Application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for the Community Development (CD) Fund Program in an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00); authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents and to act as the County's Executive Officer and Authorized Representative in all matters pertaining to the County's participation in the Community Development (CD) Fund Program and any matters incident thereto. The Community Development (CD) Fund application does not require a cash match, therefore will have no impact to the General fund. This request has been reviewed and is compliant with the Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) procedures.

Background:

Grant Funds are begin sought from the Texas Department of Agriculture - Community Development Program for roadway improvements in the State Highway 359 colonias in Webb County.
