Discussion and possible action to approve the transfer of a satellite phone from the Emergency Management Department, 3120 to the Medical Examiner’s Office, Department 3100. Phone and card were made available through the Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP)/Coastal Bend Regional Advisory Council (CBRAC) in order to meet program capabilities, and ensure the availability of emergency communications with needed resources. Future plan minutes must be purchased by department receiving satellite phone.
