Discussion and possible action to approve extension of Grant, by Order Amendment Number #3 to Contract Number #58180002804 for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) from Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) for the Program Year 2018. The extension is from January 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019 and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. All required documents were sent to review through the Economic Development Department and the solicitation is compliant with the Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) procedures. There will be no impact to the general fund. [Requested by Javier Ramirez, CAA Director; Account #2362-5150-330300]

Issue: Approve Amendment #3 for the CEAP Program Contract from TDHCA for Program Year 2018.

Solution: The CEAP Program provides direct client services to eligible elderly, disabled and low income residents of Webb County.

Result: The services are intended to assist eligible Webb County residents up to 8 highest remanding calendar months of energy consumption. The CEAP allocation for this contract is for 12 months.
