Discussion and possible action to authorize the donation of seven (7) used computers from Larga Vista Community Center to the Laredo Gateway Rotary Club in order to use them for an International Project with Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. Webb County previously accepted seven (7) new computers from Laredo Gateway Rotary Club to replace the used computers being requested for donation in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Section 263.152 (Disposition) (4).

Issue: Laredo Gateway Rotary Club donated new computers to Larga Vista Community Center. Laredo Rotary is requesting permission from Commissioner Court for the donation of the used computers previously replaced for education purposes.

Solution: Authorize the donation as per Texas State law.

Result: Continue partnerships with charitable organizations to benefit Webb County citizens utilizing the Community Centers and also help out our Sister City with education needs for those schools that are in dire need of instructional resources and can't afford to purchase new computers.
