Discussion and possible action to enter into an agreement with the owners of Tract 40 Las Lomas Subdivision for the exchange of County owned real property to facilitate the Las Lomas Culvert & Roadway Improvements as part of the Las Lomas Emergency Evacuation Project and further authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents including but not limited to closing statements, transfer deeds and any matters incident thereto.

Background:

The property exchange is necessary to complete the drainage improvements for this project. The landowners requested a property exchange instead of a purchase of easement across their property. The property to be exchanged is the replat of Tract 86 which was acquired by the County in order to build a road. The replat will include the remainder of Tract 86 and a portion of Tract 39, which was acquired for drainage channel and culverts.
