Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit competitive bids for the renovation of Courtroom and associated office spaces for County Court at Law II and in accordance with the Texas Local Government Code; Subchapter C. Competitive Bidding in General (Section 262 County Purchasing Act) and any other matters incident thereto. [Account #1001-1100-001-443000-255 (Repairs & Maintenance - Justice Center)]

Issue: The County Court at Law II courtroom requires but not limited to remodeling of both upper and lower bench, refinishing benches, removing carpet and installation of new tile.

Solution: Authorize the Purchasing Agent to seek competitive bids for this budgeted project.

Result: Finalize bidding process and return to Commissioners Court with the lowest and responsible bidder for award.
