Status report on County elevator bond project with discussion and possible action to authorize County staff to negotiate the modernization of additional elevators for the 2021 calendar year; and any other matters incident thereto. [Requested by Commissioners Court]

Issue: Commissioners Court secured 2019-A Bond Series money for the modernization of County elevators. Currently, four (4) elevator units are scheduled for modernization starting in April and running through December 2020.

Solution: Continue with the modernization schedule and authorize staff to negotiate the next round of modernization contracts prior to completion of the active contracts.

Result: Secure proposed schedule and cost for modernization of County elevator for upcoming calendar year and updates on existing work approved by Commissioners Court and related tasks.
