Discussion and possible action to enter into a one (1) year a Non-Financial Memorandum of Understanding between Laredo College and the Webb County Sheriff’s Office commencing on the date of execution by both parties. The purpose of the agreement is to implement ESL, EL Civics, and High School Equivalency classes at the Webb County Jail to improve the overall literacy levels in Laredo contingent on the availability of federal and state funds, and requesting the County Judge to execute all relevant documents. [Requested by Martin Cuellar, Sheriff]
