Discussion and possible action to, by Order, amend the Webb County Budget & Fiscal Policies for fiscal year 2019-2020, pursuant to §418.107 (a) Government Code and §111.070 (c)(2) Local Government Code, authorize the Budget Officer to amend the budget by transferring amounts budgeted for certain items to other budgeted items subject to the concurrence of the County Judge, and the County Auditor during the pendency of any emergency declarations.

Issue: The global pandemic of COVID-19 has brought many challenges to Webb County.

Solution: Amending the current budget and fiscal policy will cover emergency management and response instances.

Result: The policy will include a section for a state of emergency.
