Discussion and possible action to ratify and accept an award in the amount of $7,925.00 from FEMA 2020 Emergency Food & Shelter Program PHASE CARES and authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. Webb County will utilize funds for Emergency Food Services. There is no County's General Fund. Dates of grant January 27, 2020 to May 31, 2021. [Requested by Community Action Agency; Fund #2473-5170-521-441211]

Issue: The Emergency Food & Shelter Program (FEMA) CARES ACT will award $7,925.00 to Webb County CAA for Emergency Food Services. Provide emergency food bags to clients in need.

Solution: Place the agenda item in order to obtain Commissioners Court approval to accept the award in the amount of $7,925.00.

Result: This will allow Webb County Community Action to assist 792 eligible Webb County constituents with food.
