Discussion and possible action to ratify a twelve (12) month (October 1, 2020, through September 30, 2021) services agreement between Time Clock Plus and Webb County for software support services at a total cost of Twenty-Six Thousand Six Hundred Twenty-Two Dollars and Ten Cents ($26,622.10) and authorizing the County Judge to sign and execute all relevant documents; and any other matters incident thereto. [Requested by Rafael Pena, Information Technology Director; Account #1001-1280-001-443000-110 (Repairs & Maintenance Software)]

Issue: The County server was set to be replaced beginning Oct. 1, 2020 but the server is having several issues. The server is used to track employee time and if lost will disrupt the payroll of the Webb County Employees.

Solution: Ratification of the approval the services by the vendor for the preservation of the employee time clock plus data.

Result: With the funds that were already allocated beginning October 1, 2020, the payroll department and the IT department will be able to preserve the hours worked by employees and the equipment’s daily operations.
