Discussion and possible action to accept the 2020 - 2021 United States Department of Agriculture Child and Adult Care Food Program (USDA CACFP) continuation grant for the Head Start and Early Head Start program from October 1, 2020 through September 30, 2021. This program provides reimbursement of meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack) to enrolled children and employed kitchen staff. Acceptance of this grant includes salary adjustments of a 3% salary increase.

Background:

The USDA CACFP grant is a continuation grant for reimbursement of child meals and updated on an annual basis.

Previous Court Action:

This grant was last approved by the Webb County Commissioners Court on October 15, 2019.
