Discussion and possible action to ratify the acceptance of grant increase of Thirty-Four Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($34,375.00) to contract Amendment No. 2 contract Number 58200003175 for the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) FY-2020 from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA). Authorizing the County Judge to sign all relevant documents. Grant account #2362-5150-330300. This action will not have an impact to the General Fund. Documentation has been reviewed by Webb County Economic Development Department and is in compliant with SPOC policies and procedures. [Requested by James Flores, Director of Community Action Agency and Economic Development Program]

Issue: TDHCA has awarded an increase for $34,375.00 to the CEAP Contract Amendment No.2.

Solution: The court will allow the CAA to provide direct services to eligible low-income residents of Webb County under the CEAP program.

Result: These funds are intended to assist eligible Webb County residents with up tp 12 highest remaining calendar months of energy consumption.
