Discussion and possible action to approve the following budget to allow carry over Contract Number #61200003358 for the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) from Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) Seven Hundred Ninety Seven Thousand Five Hundred Ninety One Dollars ($797,591.00) in grant balances for CAA- CSBG Fund account #2368-5170-3303000 into 2020-2021 starting in March 27, 2020. Contract shall commence on March 27, 2020 and shall end on July 30, 2021. This carryover balance will not require a County Match. This required documentation has been submitted for review through the Economic development Department and the solicitation is compliant with Webb County Single Point of Contact (SPOC) procedures. [Requested by James Flores, CAA Director and Economic Development Program]

Issue: Year and end balances must be carried over and entered into the New World in order to continue the availability of these grant funds. CSBG Cares Act.

Solution: Approval of budget allowing for carryover of year-end balances for CAA.

Resul: Continued availability of State grant funds.
