Status report on Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 2021-001 Wind/Solar Energy Project – Webb County School Lands with discussion and possible action to schedule sole proposer Gransolar for public interview and presentation of company’s qualifications and prior work experience with wind and/or solar energy projects and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Only one proposal was submitted for formal invitation to RFP named above.

Solution: Request direction from Commissioners Court on what action is being requested next for this formal solicitation. Consideration to interview sole proposer company at a future meeting, reject proposal and resolicit or any other action that is in the best interest for Webb County.

Result: Move forward with the direction / action of Commissioners Court as approved during the February 8, 2021 regular meeting.
