Discussion and possible action to approve the closeout and release of 5% retainage in the amount of $42,003.35 to Trillium LLC dba Cobalt Construction (Purchase Order 2020-0003940) for the construction of the Texas Community Development Block Grant Program, TCDP Contract No. 7218028, Community Enhancement Fund – Public Health Facility Project and have the County Judge sign any relevant documents and any other matters incident thereto. Background:
Five percent (5%) of the construction project amount is held in retainage from the contractor for 30 days from the completion date of each project to ensure that any deficiencies which may arise are addressed by the contractor. Contract amount is $840,067.00 and 5% retainer amount is $42,003.35
Previous Court Action:
Commissioners Court approved the acceptance of the Texas Community Development Program (TCDP) contract #7218028 from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) in the amount of One Million Dollars ($500,000) and Two Hundred Thousand ($400,067) coming from match funds for construction of a Public Health Facility in Bruni, Texas and authorize Webb County Judge to sign all relevant documentation.
