Issue: There were 13 positions left vacant by the previous administration that were not funded for this fiscal year. Current administration advocated for the funding of these positions and five (5) were approved during budget adoption process. Current administration continues to be severely understaffed and in need of the other positions to be funded.

Solution: Funding the positions listed above will allow the Tax Office to be fully staffed and operate at full potential to address the increased volume of customers.

Result: Better turnaround time and flow of customers in and out of the Webb County Tax Assessor-Collector office.
