Discussion and possible action to approve the posting and filling of slot #888824, a vacant part- time Nurse/Paramedic, at the hourly rate of $20.00 to work at the Webb County Jail for the Webb County Sheriff's Office; and all subsequent part- time Nurse/Paramedic positions and any other matters incident thereto. The operational general order states that the pay for part-time employees cannot exceed $15/hr. unless specific approval to pay more is authorized by Commissioners Court. Issue: Due to competitive labor market forces, slot #888824 is currently vacant.

Solution: Seek approval from the Webb County Commissioners Court to pay this part-time employee a rate of $20.00/hr at the Webb County Jail.

Result: Approval of rate to fill the position w/ a qualified individual.
