Issue: Project listed in Transportation Priority List for 2014 CTIF is a new one mile asphalt section of roadway from current pavement end south. Commissioners Court authorized the formal solicitation for RFQ's for Engineering Services on February 08, 2021.

Solution: Six (6) firms officially submitted and Crane Engineering Corp. is the highest ranking firm.

Result: Proceed with a professional service agreement with selected firm as authorized by Commissioners Court.

Background:

The selected engineer shall provide engineering services required for the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) and related documents. These services may include, but are not limited to, preparing roadway design, traffic control design, utility adjustment coordination, subsurface utility engineering, utility engineering, survey, geotechnical data collection, and if requested and construction phase services throughout the duration of the project until completion. This solicitation will comply with the Texas Government Code, Section 2254. Professional and Consulting Services, Sub-Chapter A. Professional Services Procurement Act.

Previous Court Action:

Commissioners Court authorized the Purchasing Agent to solicit Request for Qualifications on February 8, 2021.
