Discussion and possible action to authorize the County Treasurer to open a new bank account with Falcon Bank for funds received from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
Issue:
Webb County received money from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and the Auditor is recommending that we open a separate bank account.
Solution:
Create a new bank account and deposit those funds accordingly.
Result:
Funds from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 will be managed out of this new account.
