Discussion and possible action to approve, by order, a budget amendment by increasing revenues and expenditures in the amount of $113,000.00 for Election Service Contracts Fund and a budget transfer from the Operational Reserve-Wages to Election Expense in the amount of $233,000.00 in accordance with Texas Local Government Code, Section 111.07075 (Special Budget for Revenue Received after Start of Fiscal Year) and Texas Election Code, Section 31.100; and any other matters incident thereto. Issue: Election Service Contract fund has a beginning fund deficit. Joint election entities receipts and expenditures along with the 10% administrative fees have been exhausted. Bank Reconciliations are pending since October 2020.

Solution: Court approval of budget amendment and transfer of funds from operational reserve-wages is needed to complete bank reconciliations and cover fund deficit.

Result: Elections Office bank account will be reconciled and election service contracts fund deficit will be eliminated.
