Discussion with possible action to review the current list of qualified applicants for the Community Action Agency Director position and to schedule interviews and/or select a candidate now, set the salary and start date; and any other matters incident thereto. (Contingent on meeting all Webb County pre-employment requirements).

Issue: During the September 25, 2023, Commissioner’s Court meeting, the Commissioner’s Court approved the initiation of the advertisement and solicitation of applications for qualified candidates for the Community Action Agency Director position.

Solution: Schedule interviews, select a candidate, or request to reopen the position.

Result: Hire the best-suited candidate for the Community Action Agency Director.
