Discussion and possible action to authorize the Purchasing Agent to solicit Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Civil Engineering Services for the design, preparation of construction documents and construction administration for parking lot improvements to include but not limited to resurfacing, sealcoating and lining services to the Webb County’s Fairground Pavilion and overflow parking lot areas in accordance with the Texas Government Code; Professional Services Procurement Act and any other matters incident thereto.

Issue: Issue RFQ for Civil Engineering Services for the Fairgrounds parking lot improvements.

Solution: Authorize the Purchasing Agent to secure statement of qualifications for the requested services in accordance with the Professional Services Act.

Result: Return to Court with rankings and recommendation for selection of most qualified firm for award.
