Discussion and possible action to continue paying grant funded personnel under the Office of the Governor, Grant #4418101, FY23 Specialty Court Program, Ninety (90) days, until notification about grant continuation award from the Criminal Justice Division (CJD) by the Office of the Governor, Public Safety Office. All personnel costs will be reimbursed with grant funds. [Requested by Margarita Herrera-Garza, Drug Court; Account #2710-1020-001-410000 (Payroll)]

Issue: Current Grant funding expires August 31, 2023. The Adult Drug Court Specialty Program has not received notice of award for the grant renewal, Grant No. 4448102.

Solution: Grant a 90-day payroll extension for personnel working under the grant.

Result: the Drug Court will continue to provide services without interruption.

Background:

Commissioners Court approved submission for renewal of grant January 23, 2023.
